The King and Queen of Spain had two engagements in Madrid on Tuesday, April 13th. Their Majesties met with Hugh Elliott, the British ambassador to Spain, at Zarzuela Palace to express their condolences on the death of Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness, who was 99 years old when he died on April 9, 2021, was the longest-serving consort of a reigning monarch.
Their Majesties later attended a presentation ceremony at the IFEMA Municipal Palace for the launch of the new IFEMA brand.
The IFEMA ‘Institución Ferial de Madrid’ (Madrid Fair Institution) is responsible for the organization of fairs, halls, and congresses in their Madrid facilities. IFEMA’s commitment to evolve its company is reflected in the new brand identity.
This important event required a dress to match, and Letizia always knows how to show the most beautiful outfits to us. Her style follows protocol, but she is always true to herself and her criteria. Her wardrobe is full of midi dresses, pencil cut skirts that are often accompanied by a more fitted top to highlight her femininity. Long flowing dresses are also one of the queen’s favorites, especially in summer, who can be seen in a more casual style.
At this event we see queen Letizia paired the trendy white pleated midi skirt combined with a high neck, sleeveless, black top. To accentuate her waist even more and to add a feminine detail, she adds a waist belt.
She accessorized with a black clutch bag with gold hardware, her usual rings and a pair of silver, tear drop-shaped dangling earrings. The skirt the queen is wearing is from Adolfo Domínguez.
